~ Thanks to Education.com for sharing this free Olympics Activities for Kids!
The Summer Olympics are almost here, which is always an exciting time for families across the globe. But it can also mean sitting in front of the TV with your kids for hours on end. Education.com wants to help our future Olympic hopefuls get into the spirit and be more active participants in the games while practicing fundamental skills to prepare for the school year ahead.
We’ve just released new educational resources and activities for kids Pre-K through 5th grade that are fun and educational teammates of the Summer Olympics. Education.com knows that everyone thinks and learns in many different ways, and our Olympics materials celebrate the diversity of our young learners — from hands-on activities to teacher-chosen math and reading worksheets, to workbooks and printable board games, we’ve got the 2016 Rio Summer Games covered! We’ve even included a free “Ode the Olympics” workbook ($4.99 value). Here’s a look into some we think kids will particularly love- click on the pictures or link to download the free Olympics activities for kids.
