I also googled and googled when we were first adopting, and there is virtually no information anywhere!!! I think that you will do a great job with patience and a sense of humor:). It is always an asset to know another language! :)]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[Thank you for this. I have been googling and googling and finally found you discussing this topic! I hope to someday adopt from foster care, meaning that the child will know English but need to master the minority language which we speak at home. We have been doing a combination of OPOL--DH speaks the minority language, and I try to speak both as much as possible. We will need re-evaluate this as our kids get older and start school, but so far it has worked out okay. Not sure what it&#039;d be like trying to teach an older kid adopted from foster care, but I hope we can manage it!]]></description>
