For the Multicultural Kid Blogger’s World Cup series, I am also presenting Chile!!! Here’s an introduction to their soccer team, followed by a Chile profile, and some activities to share with your kids.
Chile Profile and Info:
Chile is the long and skinny, mountainous country along the southwest side of South America. It runs north and south from the tip of the Americas where the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans meet, all the way up to the warm Atacama Desert bordering Peru. Each of the distinct regions vary in vegetation, fauna, and climate depending on the latitude. One commonality for most Chileans is the mountains, which cover 80% of the land.

Physical Geography: Bordered by the Peru to the north, Bolivia to the northeast, and Argentina to the east; the coastline on the west is the Pacific Ocean. The mountain ranges that runs the length of the country is the Andes Mountains, the longest mountain range in the world.
