Here are 2 new ones I just bought recently:
All Are Welcome by Alexandra Penfold and illustrated by Suzanne Kaufman – Simple language and rhyming text with the repeated message of “All are welcome here”, together with the detailed illustrations showing children and families of many diverse backgrounds and differences, show children that they “have a place here”; in the school, and in the community, and in the world.

I’ve read- and love- the Librarian of Basra!! What a great book and story. However I haven’t read the Last Hawaiian Princess- I am so excited to look for it at our local library! Thank you for the suggestion:).

Wonderful post!!
