Love the article – especially your recommendation on kids keeping a journal! You see so much that it’s hard to remember once you get home so it’ s nice to have a record of what you did each day. And it’s great to see what they think is a ‘cool experience’ – sometimes it’s those little things or encounters that you’d never think about that make the biggest impressions. We love traveling with the kids too – such a great learning opportunity. We’re off to Rocky Mtn Nat’l Park in a few weeks.

I love the idea of a travel journal – even for the little ones. I bet your kids enjoy going back through them – not only to remember the trip but also to see how their writing skills have improved.
