I loved reading this. I am also a High School Spanish teacher and met my husband in Gto, Mexico. We have two bilingual and bi-cultural daughters, and spend a full immersion month in Gto each summer with my in-laws. I would love to know what curso de verano you did in Mexico City! If you are interested in sharing travel tips (I have a lot of kid-friendly travel advice for Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, etc.) I would be happy to share!

We went to Berimbau, which is in the north of Mexico City. BUT there are hundreds of different options, and they start to advertise them with huge signs, around June. Kids get out of school in July. It is hard to find information on-line, but if you look for “Club Deportivo” in Mexico City, they often have a “curso de verano.” 🙂

Angie

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for for vacation planning this summer!
