I was looking for a great geography game (it is no secret that I love maps!!) and I found this nice- FREE- geography game you can play on-line. This very addictive, geography game is simple to play- yet gets more challenging as you move up!
Use your mouse to click on the capitals and famous cities as fast as you can. You will be scored by how closely you mark the correct location. I made it to level 11, but couldn’t pass it to level 12! 🙂 Share your score in the comments! While some of the locations are easy to find, I definitely need to brush up on my “islands”- some of these I have never heard of and need to learn!:)
How well do you know your world??? This geography game will challenge you more than you think. The game starts “easier” and names a city, country location for you to drop a flag. You get more points, the closer you are to the actual location. As you rise up in the levels, the map becomes hard to read, eventually losing the borders and colors that distinguish the countries. You have to complete the challenges faster and faster- I guarantee once you start, it’s hard to stop!
Which regions stumped you? Can your kids make it past level 1? What about your spouse or partner:)? I see some healthy competitions brewing…. I need to review my islands, and my Guinea/Guyana/French Guyana! Can you beat my score?

I just got my daughter to try playing the game, but the advertising down the right of screen was half covering the map so impossible to click on Asia or Australia!!! I understand the need to advertise, but not when it makes the game unplayable!

Oh no! I am so sorry- I tried to fix the image, and I may have made it worse:). I’ve emailed someone who know more about html to see if they can help me resize the game!
