Oooh, I love this!!! Our Norwegian exchange student helped to write this post :). She was missing her family during the holidays when she lived with us for a year and had fun sharing her traditions with us 🙂

Another tradition in Norway is julebukk. We go from door to door with lanterns and sing christmas songs. The people who gets the song will give back christmas cookies and fruit.

I wanted to let you know I deleted the additional links in our Chrsitmas Around the World link-up because those are suppose to go along with the series and allow readers to follow along. Plus I don’t want any blogger who has one of the countries you linked up to feel like it is a competition =-) but I added a link to your blog & christmas tag as a great resources =)
Have a GREAT week!
Beth =-)

In trying to preserve more Norwegian culture in our community, I want to find Christmas Carols [lyrics & music] for the children to sing at our next Norwegian/Scandinavian gathering.
I hope you have some helpful resources.
Sincerely,
Mary Jane
